These Terms of Use govern your use of Leam.
1. Operator
The Service is operated by Aleksandra Borisova, sole trader (yksityinen elinkeinonharjoittaja), registration number 3553897-8, registered address Peijinkatu 1 A 20, 02270 Espoo, Finland. Support: support@leam.club. Privacy: support@leam.club.
The Service uses Stripe for payments and Hetzner Online GmbH for hosting and infrastructure services.
2. The Service
Leam is an AI-assisted self-tracking service for nutrition, weight, activity, habits and progress. The Service may allow you to log meals, weight and activity; describe meals in text, photos or voice notes; receive estimated calories and nutrition values; view history, trends and summaries; receive reminders and personalised responses; and use paid subscription features.
3. Not a medical service
Leam is not a medical device, clinical service, healthcare provider, diagnostic tool or substitute for professional medical advice. Leam does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure disease. AI-generated outputs, calorie estimates, nutrition values, summaries and recommendations are informational and approximate.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, have a medical condition, have allergies, have dietary restrictions, or have a history of eating disorders, you should consult a qualified professional before using the Service for nutrition, weight or activity decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use the Service. By using Leam, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
5. Account and acceptance
Your Leam account is linked to your Telegram account or another access method provided by the Service. You are responsible for keeping your Telegram account and device secure.
By confirming the onboarding legal screen after being shown these Terms or a link to them, you accept the general conditions for using the Service.
A paid subscription contract is concluded separately when you successfully pay for the selected plan on the terms shown immediately before payment.
If you continue using the Service after a notified material change, you accept the updated Terms.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Before payment, we or Stripe will show the relevant price, billing period, paid features and renewal information. If you purchase a renewing subscription, you authorise recurring charges according to the selected plan until you cancel. We do not store full card details.
You can cancel subscription renewal through the My Progress section or another available subscription-management element in the Service interface. If access to the bot is lost, the bot is deleted, or self-service cancellation is unavailable, you may contact support@leam.club for cancellation assistance. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not necessarily cancel access for the already paid billing period. If a renewal payment fails, we or Stripe may retry the payment, restrict paid features, downgrade the account, or end the subscription.
7. Withdrawal rights, refunds and digital service acknowledgement
Where EU consumer law gives you a statutory withdrawal right, you may exercise it according to the applicable rules. Because Leam is a digital service, you may be asked during purchase to request immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be affected once digital performance starts, where permitted by applicable law.
Refund eligibility depends on applicable consumer law, the payment flow, whether the Service has started, the subscription period, and the circumstances of the request. To request cancellation, withdrawal or refund, contact support@leam.club or use the Stripe/subscription interface where available.
If a withdrawal form is required or useful, you may use: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Leam subscription. Ordered on: [DATE]. User identifier / Telegram ID / email: [USER_IDENTIFIER]. Name: [NAME]. Contact: [EMAIL]." This form does not automatically mean a refund is available in every case.
8. Health data and AI consent
Some data processed by Leam may be health-related data or special category data under GDPR. Core health-tracking and AI-processing features require your separate explicit consent under the Health Data and AI Processing Consent — Leam. If you refuse or withdraw that consent, core features may become unavailable and your account may be deactivated or deleted according to the Service procedure.
9. Personal data
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy — Leam. You may be able to use commands or settings such as /export, /delete, /undelete, /consent_status, and /withdraw.
10. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Leam. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit, display to you, analyse and otherwise use your content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You must not submit other people's personal data without lawful permission, medical records/photos/health data of third parties without permission, illegal or harmful content, content that infringes third-party rights, or content intended to disrupt, reverse engineer or abuse the Service. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms are violated or the Service is at risk.
11. AI-generated outputs
Leam uses AI to process text, photos and voice notes and to generate responses. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or unsuitable for your specific situation. Nutrition values, calories and recommendations are estimates.
12. Service and marketing communications
Service communications are part of the Service and may include reminders, summaries, payment notices, receipts, billing notices, security notices, legal notices, technical messages and support replies.
Marketing communications may include promo codes, discounts, special offers, paid-feature announcements, campaigns and partner offers. We send marketing communications only where we have the required consent or another lawful basis permitted by applicable law. You can opt in by tapping "Yes, send me offers", "Receive promos", "I agree to marketing" or a similar button, and withdraw marketing consent at any time through settings, /consent_status, /withdraw, an unsubscribe mechanism, or support@leam.club.
13. Referral programme
Leam may offer a referral programme that allows users to invite new users by using a personal referral code or link and receive access to special conditions shown in the Service.
The referral programme is an optional promotional feature and is not an essential part of the paid subscription.
An invited user means a new individual user who has not previously purchased a paid Leam subscription, uses a referral link or activates a referral code, and meets the participation conditions shown in the Service.
An invited user may receive a free access period of 7 calendar days, unless different conditions are shown in the Service.
After the end of that free access period, the invited user may be offered the first monthly Leam subscription at a special price, if such conditions are available and shown in the Service immediately before payment. The applicable special price, standard price, currency, billing period and any campaign conditions will be shown in the Service immediately before payment.
The special price applies only to the first monthly subscription of an invited user who has not previously purchased a paid Leam subscription. If the invited user's payment is refunded, cancelled, disputed, charged back, invalidated or not completed, Leam may cancel, withhold or adjust the special offer and any related benefits.
Users must use the referral programme fairly and must not attempt to obtain special access conditions through artificial, misleading or abusive activity.
Suspicious or abusive activity may include:
- repeated refunds or chargebacks by invited users;
- mass sign-ups without genuine use of the Service;
- self-referrals;
- fake or technical accounts;
- spam or misleading promotion; or
- any other attempt to obtain special access conditions without genuine user acquisition.
If Leam reasonably detects suspicious or abusive activity, Leam may temporarily suspend special access conditions, cancel disputed grants, request additional information, limit the user's participation in the referral programme, or change or withdraw the referral code.
Leam may change, suspend or discontinue the referral programme by giving notice through the Service, website or another available channel. Special conditions already granted before the change remain valid if they were obtained without breach of these terms.
14. Cookies and tracking
At the date of this version, Leam does not use cookies, web analytics, pixels, retargeting or other non-essential tracking technologies on the website or mini app. If such technologies are introduced, we will update the Privacy Policy and, where required, request consent. Strictly necessary technical processing by Telegram, Stripe, hosting providers or other third-party services may occur under their own terms and privacy policies where they act independently.
15. Intellectual property
The Service, including the bot, mini app, website, software, design, brand, text, prompts, databases, workflows and original content, belongs to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
16. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability. We may change features, interfaces, plans and prices. Material changes may be notified through the bot, mini app, website, payment flow or email where available.
17. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available"; we do not guarantee weight loss, health improvements, exact nutrition values or uninterrupted operation; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; and for paid use, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the relevant event. Nothing excludes or limits liability where this is not permitted by mandatory consumer law.
18. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, create security risks, fail to pay, withdraw a required consent, or if providing the Service becomes unlawful or impracticable.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Finland. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain applicable where required by law. Contact support@leam.club first to resolve any issue.
