Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Leam Telegram bot, the Leam mini-app and the website at leam.club (together, "the Service"), operated by [LEGAL_ENTITY] ("we", "us"). By starting the bot, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Leam is an AI-assisted nutrition and weight-tracking assistant in Telegram. You can describe meals in text, voice or photos; log activity and weight; ask questions about nutrition; and receive automated suggestions and reminders. The Service uses third-party AI providers (OpenAI) to process your inputs.

2. Not a medical service

• Nutrition values, calorie estimates and AI suggestions are approximations for general informational and self-tracking purposes only.
• The Service is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, monitoring or treatment of any disease, including obesity, diabetes, eating disorders or any other condition.
• The Service is not intended for users with eating disorders or who are at risk of developing one. If you have a history of disordered eating, please consult a healthcare professional before tracking food or weight.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, weight-loss plan or exercise routine, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or take medication.

If you ever feel that tracking is harming your wellbeing, stop using the Service and seek help.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your account

The Service identifies you through your Telegram account. You are responsible for the security of your Telegram account. You may not use the Service through an automated client or in a way that interferes with normal use by others.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not share content that infringes the rights of third parties.
• Do not submit data about other people without their consent.
• Do not use the Service to provide medical, dietary or training advice to third parties as if it were your own clinical recommendation.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or place an unreasonable load on the Service.

6. Subscriptions and payments

• Pricing and features are shown before you confirm payment.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time from the bot.
• Refunds follow the policy of the payment provider you used (Stripe for EU customers, T-Bank for Russian customers) and applicable consumer-protection law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing for future billing cycles, with at least 14 days' notice in the bot.

7. Your data

How we collect, use and protect your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms by reference.

• Export your data at any time by sending /export to the bot.
• Delete your account by sending /reset to the bot. Deletion is final after a 30-day grace window during which you can recover the account with /undelete.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the bot, mini-app, branding and content we create, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to operate the Service for you.

9. AI-generated content

Outputs from the Service are produced or assisted by AI. AI can be wrong. We do not warrant that AI outputs are accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on those outputs.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may pause, change or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice when changes are material.

11. Disclaimers and liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
• For free use, our aggregate liability to you is limited to EUR 50. For paid use, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable mandatory consumer law.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your data through /reset. We may terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with notice when reasonable.

13. Changes to these Terms

Material changes will be announced in the bot at least 14 days before they take effect, and you will be asked to re-confirm. Previous versions remain accessible at the URL recorded against your existing acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [ESTABLISHMENT_COUNTRY]. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in [ESTABLISHMENT_COUNTRY], except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
